Ostrich
Ommm. Time to enter the comfort zone. Let’s take a deep breath and relax. It’s time to talk about Ostriches, who are soft-spoken and calm, probably known to many as the peacekeeper. They want everyone to get along and are very even keeled. They’re great listeners and always try to be fair.
However, not to ruffle their feathers, but they hate conflict and try to avoid it like the plague. They just want to stick their heads in the sand until everyone calms down, which can sometimes mean they don’t participate in finding a solution. And sometimes people think they can just run right over an Ostrich because they won’t fight back.
Strengths:
- They’re easygoing and peaceful, and get along well with everyone.
- They’re exceptionally good listeners.
- They're good natured, loyal and easy to trust.
Weaknesses:
- When faced with a problem, they may tend to procrastinate, which means they often feel overworked.
- Because of their easy going personality, people sometimes feel they can push Ostriches around.
- Their best ideas may go unheard because they're not talking loud enough.
- They try to please everyone else, putting themselves last.
